A welcoming and community-focused Primary School in Horsham is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team. This role would suit an experienced KS1 teacher or an ECT looking to work in a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on early learning, pupil wellbeing and positive relationships.
Teaching within Key Stage 1
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Creating a nurturing, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Working collaboratively with colleagues and families
Experienced KS1 teachers
ECTs seeking a supportive early career placement
Teachers with strong phonics and early reading knowledge
Practitioners who value teamwork and consistency
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, including during training placements
Strong classroom practice and positive behaviour management
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
