Summary
Nevis Range is on the hunt for a Chef/Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This position is part time working 3 days from 7 days, this will be a mix of days and nights, This is your chance to make a substantial impact in a vibrant and fast-paced culinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook delicious, high-quality meals following our established recipes
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus, create new recipes, and introduce innovative culinary concepts.
- Monitor food inventory, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimiase food costs without compromising on quality.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation throughout the kitchen area.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve your culinary skills.
