We are seeking a proactive and nurturing Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education, ensuring that every child in your care feels safe, happy, and supported in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
• Key Person Role: Act as a Key Person for a small group of children, building strong bonds and monitoring their individual progress.
• Observation & Tracking: Carry out regular observations and record developmental milestones using our tracking system.
• Daily Safety: Participate in morning and afternoon safety checks and maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free environment.
• Planning: Contribute ideas for activities that follow the children's interests and support their next steps in learning.
• Communication: Provide daily feedback to parents at drop-off and pick-up times, ensuring they are informed and involved.
• Safeguarding: Maintain a thorough understanding of the setting's safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
Requirements
• Qualifications: Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of the EYFS and the importance of safeguarding.
• Attributes: A genuine passion for working with children, great teamwork skills, and a reliable nature.
• Certification: Valid Paediatric First Aid and a clear Enhanced DBS check.
