Special Needs Teacher – Key Stage 3 – SEND School
A warm, welcoming and well-resourced SEND school is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher to teach small Key Stage 3 classes of students with Autism and Moderate Learning Needs. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to join a school where staff feel valued, supported and proud of the difference they make every day.

You will teach small classes of just 4–8 pupils, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants, allowing you to focus on building strong relationships and delivering highly personalised learning.

The Role:
• Teaching small Key Stage 3 classes of pupils with Autism and Moderate Learning Needs
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
• Creating a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress alongside social and emotional development
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants to provide high levels of support
• Contributing to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND, particularly Autism and MLD (desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing, patient and relationship-focused approach
• The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
