What Can You Expect?
Following our recent success in securing the NHS Suffolk and North-East Essex (SNEE) contract - a major milestone in our ongoing growth - we are excited to open a new opportunity for a detail‑orientated and dependable Payroll Officer to join the expanding HTG‑UK team.
This is a permanent, hybrid role offered on a Full-Time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £27,534 per annum.
As a Payroll officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and wages in line with company policies, employment legislation, and taxation requirements. The successful candidate will take ownership of maintaining payroll records, calculating earnings and deductions, and ensuring all staff are paid accurately and on schedule.
A Typical Day Could See You:
Processing weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, including overtime and bonuses.
Maintain and update payroll records, always ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to provide reports, insights, and support for compliance reviews.
Resolving payroll discrepancies reported by staff and management and responding promptly to employee inquiries.
Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and reporting requirements.
Assisting with year-end processes, including P60s and audits.

What We’re Looking For:
Previous payroll experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
