Your new company
A specialist manufacturer of highly technical, high value, engineered products, this company has manufacturing sites within the group at various international locations. They are well established with strong sales, still growing, and are known for their high-quality specialist products.
Your new role
- Manage import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with customs formalities and regulations (sea, air, road).
- Arrange collection and shipping bookings with selected providers.
- Handle shipping documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Work closely with the sales and service departments on quotations and shipment updates.
- Maintain accurate shipping and compliance records.
- Preparing and checking all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
What you'll need to succeed
- Your CV will demonstrate relevant experience in logistics within air, sea and road and international shipments.
- Good understanding of import / export processes
- Strong knowledge of shipping documents and incoterms
- Exposure to HS codes, HMRC, export licences is advantageous.
- Good communication (verbal and written)
- Well-organised, efficient and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Team player.
- Analytical.
- Integrity and resilience.
