Are you an organised, detail‑focused Dispenser looking for a new opportunity within a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment? We are currently recruiting a Dispenser to support the accurate and efficient supply of medication to NHS trusts, ensuring full compliance with contractual and service-level requirements.
Purpose of the Role
To ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe dispensing and supply of medication to NHS trusts, maintaining full compliance with all contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medication in line with delivery schedules, prioritising workload strategically and chronologically.
- Book deliveries via approved platforms, carrying out all required checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Order stock from approved suppliers and raise purchase orders through Salesforce.
- Manage stock‑related queries, liaising with suppliers and escalating to senior team members when required.
- Apply contract-specific requirements when dispensing medication and booking deliveries.
- Complete PCS activities as required.
- Handle contract-related queries within agreed timeframes.
- Receive and verify incoming stock deliveries from couriers against purchase orders.
- Prepare and hand over completed deliveries to LF&E.
- Maintain and update working schedules across both white boards.
- Complete monthly NHS submissions accurately and within required deadlines.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Proficient in PMR systems.
- Proficient in Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of trust‑specific processes and requirements.
- Level 2 Dispenser qualification (or equivalent) - essential.
Key Performance Indicators
- Accuracy and completeness of the near miss log.
- Compliance with delivery schedules and contract requirements.
- Timeliness of submissions and query resolutions.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with strong time‑management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities.
