This is a permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week, worked flexibly) and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy HR environment where accuracy, care, and great customer service really matter.As HR Coordinator, you’ll play a key part in supporting colleagues across the organisation throughout the full employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to contract changes and record keeping, you’ll help ensure our HR processes run smoothly, compliantly, and with people at the heart of everything we do.About the roleIn this role, you’ll provide accurate and timely HR administrative support across a wide range of activities. You’ll work closely with People Partners, managers, and colleagues across the organisation, making sure information is up to date, processes are followed correctly, and everyone receives a friendly and professional service.Your responsibilities will include:Processing starters, leavers and internal changes, ensuring all relevant teams are kept informedSupporting recruitment from advert stage through to onboarding, in line with safer recruitment requirementsCarrying out pre-employment checks including right to work, DBS, references and qualificationsPreparing contracts and contract variations with strong attention to detail and version controlMaintaining accurate, confidential employee records in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirementsSupporting probation processes and highlighting any issues to People PartnersMaintaining HR systems and people data to support reporting, audits and inspectionsProviding administrative support to learning, development and people initiativesContributing to continuous improvement projects within the People Services teamWho we’re looking forWe’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and takes pride in doing things properly. You’ll enjoy working with people, handling confidential information sensitively, and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.You’ll bring:At least two years’ experience in an HR administration or HR apprentice roleStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and systemsExperience handling confidential information in line with GDPRA good understanding of core HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding and payroll changesConfidence using Microsoft applications and HR systemsA proactive, calm and professional approachExperience within the Further Education sector and a CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards one) are desirable but not essential.
