Summary
Paul loves his gadgets and spending time playing on his Xbox. He also enjoys shopping in charity shops and going out for a pub lunches. Paul likes visiting his sister, (she has a dog ) and he would like a cat in the future.
Hours: 30 hr, 15 hr and casual contracts available
Essential for this job: Having a UK Driving Licence and good IT skills would be an advantage.
Paul has a mild learning disability. Although he is independent in many aspects of his life, he requires support to budget and manage his home.
Paul has spent many years living in long-stay hospitals and is now finally moving into his new home.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team to support Paul on his journey of discovery and live his best life. Paul will be supported on 1:1 basis; however, working effectively as part of a team is essential. Due to Paul’s mild learning disability, he can be vulnerable at times, so it is important that the team are able to maintain agreed boundaries at all times.
