The Primary School are looking for a fluent Welsh speaking qualified HLTA or student Teacher on a long term basis from April 2026. The successful candidate will need to be able to speak the Welsh language fluently and will need to be experienced working with children across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering learning activities whilst assessing each pupil and tracking their progress throughout the year. You will need to be flexible between the working times of 08:30am – 15:30pm and be able to get stuck in with the schooling life, ensuring all pupils are engaged in their learning whilst spreading the Welsh ethos across the school.
The successful Welsh speaking Teacher will have:
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification / HLTA
• Fluent verbal and written Welsh
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to build valued and trusted relationships with students
• A can-do, positive attitude and approach to their work
• Patience and ability to remain calm under stressful situations
