Job Description: Are you passionate about warehouse operations and logistics? Looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and growing company? We're currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dedicated team at our Highbridge site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling Goods with Care: Use the warehouse management system (WMS) and Zebra scanning equipment to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch stock.
- Stock Movement: Load and unload orders, ensuring goods are moved to the correct locations safely and efficiently.
- FLT & MHE Operation: Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT), Pivot/Articulated trucks, and PPTs as required to support daily warehouse operations.
- Inventory Support: Replenish, consolidate, and rotate stock to maintain accurate inventory levels and smooth workflow.
- Clean & Organised Workspace: Maintain a tidy, safe working environment following "clean as you go" standards.
- Process Compliance: Complete all paperwork accurately and report any issues or defects in line with warehouse procedures.
- Systems & Admin: Use Excel and other digital tools to support basic reporting, stock checks, and operational tasks.
Requirements:
- A Pivot / Ride-on PPT licence is a bonus - but if you don't have one, we'll provide full training.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
