Job Summery
The Restful Homes Group are seeking dedicated and compassionate Regional Care Leads to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care. Overseeing the operations of multiple care homes within a defined geographical area, ensuring high-quality care delivery, regulatory compliance and meeting regional performance targets through the leadership and support of a team of Home Managers, while maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, staff and residents.
Key Responsibilities
• Regularly auditing care services within the region to monitor quality standards, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with regulatory bodies like CQC.
• Ensuring all care homes within the region adhere to relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies regarding care delivery, health and safety and data protection.
• Supporting the training and development of care staff across the region, ensuring adherence to established care plans and protocols. promoting a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families to provide updates on care and address any concerns.
• Drive the implementation of individualised care plans, adapting them as necessary to meet the evolving needs of residents.
• Conduct regular risk assessments of resident needs, preferences and environments ensuring that services are tailored accordingly.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional development among staff members.
• Ensure that all documentation related to resident care is accurately maintained and updated in line with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a senior care environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with residents, families, and staff.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently.
• Familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings is advantageous.
• A compassionate approach towards elderly individuals, always demonstrating patience and empathy.
• Relevant qualifications in health or social care would be beneficial.
