This is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week), offering a competitive salary of £26,400 – £30,370, plus employer pension contribution. Why join Northpoint? Northpoint is a BACP-accredited service delivering Single Point of Access (SPA) and Central Point of Contact (CPOC) services across West Yorkshire. Our digitally enabled model ensures a responsive, high-quality experience for service users, helping them connect quickly with the most appropriate local support. Alongside our service centres, we deliver school-based support, therapeutic interventions, and act as lead provider within local mental health partnerships, working closely with ICBs and NHS Trusts. What you’ll be doing as our Information Gatherer Provide a telephone-based information gathering service to support clinical decision-making, exploring mental health presentation, risk and vulnerability. Offer clear, practical advice and information to professionals, children, young people and families to support timely access to services. Respond to referrals, carry out concise information gathering by phone, manage appointments, and support onward referrals to appropriate agencies. Work closely with clinicians and partner professionals, ensuring communication is clear, accessible and supportive. Accurately record all contacts, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to service data collection and reporting. Identify risk, vulnerability and safeguarding concerns, taking appropriate action in line with Northpoint safeguarding procedures. What we’re looking for Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to gather, analyse and interpret information quickly and accurately. Experience of managing referrals and using patient management systems (desirable). Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and information governance.
