Kitchen Porters play an essential role in supporting chefs and maintaining smooth kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation at all times.
The Role
Support the kitchen team by assisting with day-to-day duties and ensuring an efficient working environment
Carry out essential cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and keeping food preparation areas spotless
Assist chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, chopping, and preparing ingredients when required
Help manage kitchen stock, ensuring supplies are stored correctly, labelled properly, and organised efficiently
Maintain kitchen equipment to a high standard, reporting any faults or issues to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Uphold strict Health & Safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring the kitchen remains a safe and sanitary workplace
