The Glasgow School of Art is seeking to appoint a Domestic Assistant to join the Estates team on a part-time, permanent basis based in Glasgow.
• 17.5 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
The successful applicant will be an experienced, enthusiastic domestic assistant, with a broad knowledge of cleaning and domestic duties within public areas, restrooms, offices and working areas such as studios and workshops. Dedicated to providing a high standard of cleaning and other duties when working alone or as part of a team.
An ability to use the full range of electrical cleaning equipment (scrubber dryers, polishers, vacuums, etc.) is desirable, although training will be given. Knowledge of COSHH, colour coding system and other domestic work-related relevant training would also be an advantage.
