• 2 shift patterns: Shift 1: Mon 04.00 – 4pm , Tues – Fri 13.30 – 23:30pm – Shift 2: Tues – Sat 5am – 2pm

What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Food Production Operative
• Preparing, grading, and trussing poultry products to specification
• Safely hang birds onto the processing line as they exit the controlled atmosphere system, ensuring calm handling and full compliance with Bird Welfare standards.
• Carry out the knife cut stage to support effective processing, following all safety, welfare, and quality procedures.
• Maintain excellent hygiene standards by washing Dolavs, trailers, and equipment to minimise contamination risks.
• Support the wider team by covering trained operatives during periods of absence, ensuring smooth and continuous production.
• Positioning poultry correctly on the production line for further processing
• Carrying out quality checks and handling offal where required
• Supporting despatch tasks including loading, unloading, and documentation
• Completing hygiene duties including cleaning equipment and work areas
What you’ll bring to the table as a Food Production Operative
• Previous experience in food production, poultry, meat processing, or FMCG environments
• Ability to work safely with raw product and within a live bird environment
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and GMP principles
• Confidence following health and safety procedures in a fast-paced setting
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills
Working hours: Full-time with flexible shifts, including nights (role dependant)
