Your new company
An established top-tier accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a Business Tax Senior to join its growing Cardiff-based Business Tax team. Your new role
As a Business Tax Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high quality corporate tax compliance and advisory work across a diverse client portfolio, ranging from entrepreneurial businesses to large international groups. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
  • Assisting with P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, ERS, and EMI reporting
  • Supporting advisory projects, including capital allowances, succession planning, profit extraction, and employee incentives
  • Identifying wider tax planning opportunities and collaborating with subject specialists
  • Managing client communications and building trusted relationships
  • Coaching and reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Working collaboratively across offices and service lines to deliver seamless solutions

What you'll need to succeed
You will be technically strong, commercially aware, and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a high performing tax team. Ideally, you will bring:

  • ACA / ACCA and/or ATT or CTA qualification (or near completion)
  • Strong UK corporate tax compliance experience
  • Exposure to advisory or project-based tax work
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and recognise broader tax implications
  • A proactive, organised approach and confidence in supporting junior staff
  • Knowledge of Alphatax (preferred, not essential)
