Summary

We're looking for Quantity Surveyors to join our Southern Water team based in Falmer and Chatham.

Location: Falmer / Chatham - remote working available, with 3 days to be based at site.

Hours: FTE is 40 hours - we can consider condensed working, part-time, or job share

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role

Join our exciting £3.1bn Strategic Development Partnership with Southern Water, where you'll play a vital role in our Commercial team. What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in controlling costs and maximizing value. Your day to day will include:

-Managing project finances including preparing applications for payment and monitoring project costs

-Building relationships with subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth financial processes

-Supporting procurement activities and providing commercial evaluations

-Identifying changes and supporting the Change Control procedures

-Ensuring all contractual notifications are correctly in place

What are we looking for?

This role of a Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You have experience with NEC contracts with Target Costs

-You enjoy collaborative working and building relationships across teams

-You have experience in the construction, water or civil infrastructure sectors

-You're comfortable with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

-You have strong communication skills and enjoy working with clients
