LandmarcSupportServices arelooking for a motivated and reliable Cleaning Operative to become part of our friendly, dedicated team. This is a role where your work truly matters — you’ll be helping to maintain clean, safe and welcoming facilities for the Armed Forces while they train.
No previous experience is required. If you bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the support, training and career progression to help you thrive. Shifts run between: 08:00 - 16:30 from Monday to Friday
Hours of work:37 per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Okehampton Training Camp, Devon, EX20 1QP

- Keeping the camp clean, tidy and ready for use
- Cleaning offices, communal areas and accommodation blocks (including ablutions and shower facilities)
- Carrying out general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Supporting basic building and grounds maintenance
- Managing cleaning supplies and stock
- Completing simple documentation using both paper and digital systems
- Assisting with any additional tasks as required
What were looking for
- General housekeeping or caretaking knowledge (helpful but not essential)
- Awareness of Health & Safety procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to complete basic documentation
- Basic IT skills, including using a tablet
- A valid UK driving licence (essential due to the rural location)
