Summary
Qualified Tutor / Teacher – SEND & Alternative Provision
Locations: Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Kingsteignton
We are recruiting qualified tutors and teachers to deliver specialist tuition for learners accessing alternative education routes across South Devon.
This role supports learners who may be out of school, transitioning placements, or requiring additional academic support. Sessions are tailored to EHCP outcomes and delivered on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
Role Focus

Academic tuition with a strong pastoral and re-engagement focus

Supporting learners with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and MLD

Flexible delivery locations including schools, community settings, and online
Essential Criteria
-
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent

Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged learners

Calm, adaptable teaching style

Driving essential due to outreach delivery
Pay Rate: £25 – £35 per hour
