We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Cardiff area that prioritises the well-being of both staff and students. This role involves general classroom support as well as providing one-to-one assistance to pupils, with a preference for candidates experienced in Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
First Aid experience and qualifications are highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• A Level 3 NVQ, CACHE qualification, or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
• Experience with ELSA or Thrive programmes (preferred but not essential).
• A caring, empathetic, and patient approach.
