Primary ICT Teacher
We are a growing education support organisation working with a wide range of primary schools across the city to enhance Computing and digital learning. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Primary ICT Teacher to join our established Curriculum Support team, working across multiple school settings.
The Primary ICT Teacher will:
• Be an exceptional and forward-thinking primary classroom practitioner with a proven record of effective teaching
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of national curriculum expectations alongside confident, up-to-date ICT and Computing expertise
• Show a clear understanding of current ICT and Computing challenges and their impact on pupil progress and whole-school improvement
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage staff through high-quality training and presentations
The role of Primary ICT Teacher involves:
• Delivering high-quality ICT and Computing lessons that inspire pupils and model best practice for classroom teachers
• Working confidently with senior leaders to plan, review and develop whole-school ICT and Computing provision
• Supporting the growth of professional learning communities within individual schools and across wider school networks
• Using ICT and STEM approaches to strengthen teaching and learning across the wider curriculum
• Helping teachers raise the quality of cross-curricular provision within a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum through effective use of digital technologies
Additional information:
• The Primary ICT Teacher post is term-time, plus an additional six days worked during school holidays
• Access to a vehicle is essential to travel between school sites; mileage expenses will be reimbursed
• The successful applicant must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate
