Crynodeb
We are looking for a highly skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team in delivering exceptional care. The successful candidate must be confident in digital care planning and demonstrate advanced medication awareness to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Medication Management: Administer medications safely and accurately using Electronic Medication Administration Records (E-MAR).
• Medication Awareness: Maintain high vigilance regarding drug interactions, contraindications, and side effects, conducting regular reviews to minimize error risks.
• Digital Recording: Ensure all clinical notes and fluid/food charts are updated in real-time via our digital care management system.
• Clinical Care: Assess, plan, and implement person-centered care for patients with varying needs.
• Team Leadership: Lead shifts effectively, delegating tasks to care assistants while maintaining overall accountability for the floor.
Requirements:
• Registration: Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Digital Competency: Proven experience with E-MAR systems (e.g., PCS, Nourish, or similar) and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
• Vetting: Membership of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
• Professional Development: Evidence of recent training in Safe Handling of Medicines.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with GPs, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
