Crynodeb
Please refer to the job description and person specification for full details. To provide the clinical psychology aspect of the LPFTs multi-disciplinary mental health assessment and intervention service provision to young people resident in LSU. To develop and provide a range of clinical psychology assessments and interventions either as the sole clinician or in conjunction with other CAMHS colleagues; with other staff and agencies responsible for providing services to the young people within the LSU and their carers and families. To act as case coordinator / lead professional where appropriate. To provide therapeutic interventions to young people within LSU who have been the victims of sexual abuse; who are presenting with sexually concerning behaviours. To provide specialist developmental assessments, including cognitive assessments, assessments for autistic spectrum disorder to help understand underlying learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental difficulties which may be impacting on the young persons presentation. Experience in and ability to provide at least 2 of the following therapeutic interventions: Dialectical Behaviour therapy Cognitive-behaviour therapy Systemic work with families and other involved agencies Therapeutic interventions for post abuse; for post traumatic stress Therapeutic interventions for sexually concerning behaviours Attachment work Solution focused therapies Creative therapies Relaxation and visualization techniques
