Crynodeb
To provide neurodiversity assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and young people. The Consultant has overall responsibility for their own caseload, which will include children and young people across the three boroughs within the pilot. To supervise and teach non-Consultant grade doctors, including GP with extended roles (GPweR). Provide clinical input to multi-disciplinary clinics for the assessment of children with complex neurodiversity presentations. These assessments include a rising caseload of children with ASD and ADHD that require assessment and further management. To hold clinical responsibility for the care of children with complex neurodisability seen with in the hub and provide medical advice to local authority childrens services according to statutory legislation and guidance for Looked After Children.
