The Role
An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support one of it’s divisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, customer-focused sales office in a full-time, permanent position.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the first point of contact for customers, processing orders and handling enquiries
Liaising with customers, manufacturing plants and warehouses to ensure timely product delivery
Maintaining high standards of customer care
Providing administrative support to the sales team
Working closely with Credit Control to ensure customer accounts remain up to date
Building and developing relationships with new and existing customers by telephone
Processing customer claims
Supporting the wider sales strategy
General sales administration duties
The Candidate
The successful candidate for this Sales Coordinator role will possess:
A good standard of education and be fully IT literate
Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
You will be organised, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced sales environment
Confidence in supporting customers and an external sales team is essential, along with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
Experience within the construction or manufacturing sector would be advantageous, however full training will be provided.
Attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are valued more highly than specific qualifications.
