Under the direction of the Nursery Manager, the over 3’s Provision Manager will lead a passionate team to create a safe, inspiring, and nurturing environment for children.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the provision in your designated age group, championing our unique ethos, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape practice and ensure the best possible opportunities for our children.
What you’ll be doing…
• Supporting the Nursery Manager to Lead and manage all aspects of nursery operations, with particular focus on your designated age group
• Deputising in the Manager’s absence alongside our Under 3’s Provision Manager
• Driving the delivery of our unique ethos, ensuring every child thrives
• Supporting the Nursery Manager to Develop and inspire your team through coaching, training, and performance management
• Building strong partnerships with families and the local community
• Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements are met
• Supporting the Nursery Manager in monitoring quality and implementing continuous improvement plans
Our ideal candidate will have…
• Proven leadership experience within early years education
• Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant)
• Forest School qualification and/or experience
• Paediatric First Aid certification (12 hours) and a commitment to maintain it
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A genuine passion for early years education and team development
• Ability to lead by example with positivity, empathy, and professionalism
• Confidence in leading a team, and implementing operational procedures
