Job Overview
The Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of our outdoor cinema events, both within and outside of London. There will be a mixture of working from home and attending our events. The ideal candidate MUST have previous event management experience and should be comfortable with travelling in and out of London (accommodation is provided for out-of-London events).
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive event plans, including venue selection, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
Coordinate with vendors for catering, equipment rentals, and other event services, ensuring contracts are negotiated effectively.
Oversee on-site event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements such as seating, audio-visual equipment, and concessions are properly arranged.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly during events.
Liaise with clients and staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Attend meetings with stakeholders and conduct site visits to ensure readiness for events.
Oversee live events, ensuring that all elements are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Manage and lead event staff, providing guidance and support throughout the event process.
Collaborate with our marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials to effectively advertise events.
Take responsibility for the overall logistics and successful delivery of our events.
Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with local regulations.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
MUST have Proven experience in event management.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and challenges.
