Summary
Experienced Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
On-Call: None
Pay: Weekly
Annual Leave: 6 weeks per year
Start Date: Within one month of offer
We are working on behalf of a well-established domiciliary care provider in Cardiff to recruit an experienced Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator. This is a key operational role and only candidates with proven, hands-on experience in large-scale house-to-house domiciliary care rostering will be considered.
This is not a supported living or residential scheduling role. The successful candidate must understand the real-world demands of high-volume domiciliary care operations.
The Role
As Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant scheduling of care services across a large domiciliary care operation. You will manage complex rotas, balance staff availability and travel time, and ensure continuity of care for service users in the community.
Essential Experience & Requirements:
Candidates must meet all of the following:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator / Scheduler
At least 2 years’ experience managing high-volume rotas of 3,000+ care hours per week
Direct experience in domiciliary care house-to-house rostering is essential
Confident managing complex rotas, staff availability, travel time planning, and last-minute changes
Experience working within a regulated care environment with a strong understanding of compliance
Strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to work at pace in a busy operational setting
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
