Are you a highly motivated professional looking for an exciting new challenge? The ONE (Owl North East) Trust, a vibrant multi-academy trust, is looking for two Teaching Assistants to join our friendly team, based at one of our primary schools – West Denton Primary. These are part-time positions, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only. One of the positions is permanent, and one of the positions is fixed-term.

West Denton Primary School is looking to appoint two teaching assistants who are enthusiastic, organised and friendly, and who want to be part of our welcoming and supportive school. We are passionate about ensuring our school meets its potential, and you would be part of making that happen.

West Denton Primary School is looking to appoint two Level 2 Support Assistants who are passionate about ensuring the children in school reach their potential. We are looking for applicants who want to join our supportive and hardworking team, where our mission is for our school community to be excited about and love learning. We are looking for someone who:

Essential:

- Has experience of supporting children in a learning environment

- Has knowledge of the National Curriculum

- Has experience in classroom organisation

- Has qualifications for teaching assistants or equivalent experience

- Is able to supervise pupils during curriculum time and outdoor play

- Has GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent

Desirable:- Has experience supporting children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 (aged 3-7 years)

- Has experience supporting children with high SEND needs

- Has experience supporting individual children and groups to achieve academically and socially

- Wants to join an ambitious and supportive team and will be flexible and adaptable

- Will inspire and nurture our children

- First Aid training

West Denton Primary has Academy status and is one of eight schools within ONE (Owl North East) Trust, which is committed to providing the highest quality support for teaching and learning; the employer will be the Trust.

You will be based at West Denton Primary School. At the request of the ONE Trust, you may be required to conduct your duties elsewhere to facilitate learning or social activities off the school premises. The Trust reserves the right to change your area of work, temporarily or otherwise, as may be required, subject to reasonable notice and prior consultation with you. Please also note that this post is subject to a six-month probationary period.
