What skills and experience we're looking for

This maternity cover post is a crucial one to the school. The current successful Head of Department has overseen some impressive GCSE results. In 2025, 82% of students achieved a Grade 4+ in English and 67% achieved a Grade 5+; both well above national averages. You will lead a team of five other teachers. You must be able to design and implement an exciting curriculum for teachers to deliver, with inspiring lessons for all ages and abilities within the subject.
