Manufacturing Operator
Join our dynamic team in Basingstoke! We are looking for a collaborative individual to support our daily production and quality goals in a fast-paced environment.
The Opportunity
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour (plus a 20% shift allowance).
Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly schedule (Week 1: 06:00-14:00; Week 2: 14:00-22:00).
Duration: 6-month contract with an immediate start available.
Location: Onsite in Basingstoke.
What You Will Do
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be the engine of our production process, ensuring every product is handled with care and precision. Your day-to-day will involve:
Production Excellence: Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assemble, pack, and label products accurately.
Quality Assurance: Inspecting materials and containers at every stage to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
Equipment Operation: Starting and monitoring conveyors, assisting with equipment validation, and maintaining a clean, sanitized work area.
Documentation: Recording vital information such as weight, time, and date packaged to comply with Quality System regulations.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: A background in a manufacturing or lab environment.
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word/Excel) and the ability to learn manufacturing software like QAD and Agile.
Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for accuracy in both paperwork and product inspection.
Communication: Full English language proficiency and the ability to follow technical instructions or diagrams.
