You’ll ensure that we remain fully compliant with school policies, safeguarding regulations, and employment legislation, while helping to create a positive environment. Your contributions will be vital in making Moat Community College a great place to work and learn.Key ResponsibilitiesActing as first point of contact for staff for HR queries in a professional and confidential manner
Arranging staff absence cover daily
Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to school staffSupport recruitment processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting, interview coordination and onboarding
Ensure all pre - employment checks are completed in line with KCSIE, including DBS and right-to-work documentation
Maintain accurate staff records, contracts, the Single Central Record and HR databases
Liaising with multiple organisations, including external supply agencies, payroll, the Local Authority and other outside agencies
Submitting the annual workforce census and local authority monthly returnsThe right candidate will haveA positive ‘can do ‘attitude An efficient and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills with the ability to relate positively to children and adults.Strong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent attention to detail and confidentialityBe IT confident and have strong Microsoft skills including Outlook, word, Teams and Excel,Clear, professional communication and administrative skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
