The maternity services at Hull University Teaching Hospitals are committed to upholding and maintaining the highest standards of evidence-based practice and working in partnership with women and their families.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife to work within our award-winning maternity bereavement service.

There has never been a better time to join Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as our maternity services are undergoing huge investment into a new leadership structure. We provide care to over 5,000 families in one large maternity unit and across our community, delivering exceptional care in partnership with women, families and external stakeholders.

Working alongside the Bereavement Lead Midwife, the post holder with assist with providing caring, compassionate and individualised care to bereaved families who have experienced late miscarriage, medical termination of pregnancy, stillbirth and neonatal death.

This will include assisting with the coordination and delivery of all aspects of Bereavement Service for families.

Additionally, they will support the team facilitating the Rainbow Support Service, caring for women who are pregnant following the loss of a baby.
