More detail about the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Nurse/Practitioner who has recentrelevant clinical experience in the acute or community setting to be part of the North Devon Research Delivery Team team. You will support the safe conduct of research in accordance with theResearch Governance Framework and Good Clinical Practice guidelines and provideassurance that the rights, safety and well-being of trial participants are protected.The post holder will provide specialist knowledge, skills and experience within clinicalresearch, and act as a resource to advise and support those involved in clinical trials atall levels. The post holder will be able to autonomously plan, implement, organise andmanage concurrent research projects. They will develop networks with MultidisciplinaryTeams across the Trust and other appropriate local and national agencies. They willcoordinate and manage the relevant study portfolio and deliver recruitment accrual inline with performance and monitoring objectives. As a Senior ResearchNurse/Practitioner they will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of theclinical requirements associated with research to ensure optimum delivery of clinicaltrials. They will ensure that research will be conducted in accordance with the ResearchGovernance Framework and Good Clinical Practice guidelines to provide assurance thatthe rights, safety and well-being of trial participants are protected. They will ensure thatall research procedures are conducted according to study protocols and will beaccountable for the recruitment, data collection and care of research participants with afocus on providing a quality experience.
