About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior to join a friendly and professional audit team within a well-established accountancy practice.
You will work closely with Audit Managers and Directors, taking responsibility for your role within audit assignments and developing strong client relationships. The position offers exposure to a broad range of audit work and the opportunity to further develop technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Audit Client Manager in delivering audit assignments.
• Ensure audit work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant auditing and regulatory standards.
• Take the lead on selected audit assignments as part of ongoing development.
• Identify and escalate issues arising during the audit process to Managers
• Supervise, support, and mentor junior members of the audit team
• Liaise directly with clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Assist Directors and Managers with ad hoc projects as required
About You
• You must be fully ACCA or ACA qualified
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice with a strong audit background
• Confident leading audits and dealing directly with clients
• Strong technical knowledge and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, professional, and committed to continuous development
