About the role

- Female Support Worker

- Fixed term contract (1 year)

- Full time -37.5 hours

- Full UK Manual driving licence essential.

We are recruiting a female Support Worker for a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover, supporting people across two supported living homes. This role is days only, with no sleep-ins or night shifts. A full manual driving licence is essential as you will be driving mobility vehicles, although you do not need your own car. No experience is required and full training will be provided.

You will support one active woman in her 70s who enjoys knitting, sewing, baking, cleaning, singing, and community clubs. She follows a consistent routine, has strong family connections, and requires full support with personal care, medication, and meal preparation.

You will also support two men in their 20s and 30s who are energetic and highly social, with interests including volunteering, musical theatre, singing, acting, bowling, karaoke, and local community groups. Both require full personal care, medication support, and meal preparation. One gentleman is vegetarian and prefers that no meat is eaten within his home. The environment is lively, upbeat, and best suited to someone fun, confident, and positive.

Shift patterns include 7:30am-3:00pm and 2:30pm-10:00pm, with some longer or varied day shifts and alternate weekend working. There are no nights or sleep-ins.

About you

You will be someone caring, reliable and values-driven, able to support busy daytime routines across two homes. You must have a full manual driving licence. You should be comfortable providing personal care, medication support, and cooking. Experience isn't required — just the right mindset, commitment, and enthusiasm.
