Crynodeb
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the current improvement in performance within the centre and working with operational leads to drive any further improvements. The post holder will lead the Centre performance in relation to Cancer targets and deputise for the Radiology Centre Manager during periods of leave/absence.
Working alongside the Radiology Centre Manager and Clinical Director, the post holder will support with the development and delivery of the centres strategic objectives. The post holder will also take an active role in all elements of legislative compliance with particular focus on IR(ME)R 2017, IRR 17, ARSAC and EA.
· To provide professional leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality and effective patient services within the Centre.
· To support the Centre Manager in defining the strategic direction for the Centre.
· To develop long term strategies to ensure the sustainability of the Centre.
· To drive transformational change and innovation.
· To act as ambassador for the Centre and to demonstrate through personal behaviours the core values of the Trust.
· To ensure that an appropriate managerial and professional infrastructure is in place to support the delivery of high quality services within the Centre.
· To ensure a regular physical presence within all areas of the Centre in order to provide appropriate leadership.
· To deputise for the Centre Manager during periods of absence/annual leave.
