Are you a passionate, clinically strong nurse looking to take the next step in your career? I am seeking an experienced Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager to join a friendly, dedicated team at a lovely medium-sized nursing home located near Canterbury, Kent.
About the Role
As Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Home Manager with the day to day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and personal care for our residents. You will divide your time between hands on nursing leadership and supernumerary duties, ensuring compliance, mentoring staff, and driving excellence throughout the home.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support the nursing and care team to deliver exceptional person-centred careProvide strong clinical guidance and expertise across all aspects of care deliveryEnsure the home maintains high standards in line with CQC requirements and company policiesCarry out care plan audits, clinical risk assessments, and staff supervisionSupport residents living with dementia, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeingDeputise for the Home Manager when required and help maintain a positive, supportive culture
The ideal candidate will:
Be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PINHave previous experience working in a nursing home environmentBe clinically confident, proactive, and passionate about delivering quality careHave solid CQC and dementia care knowledgeDemonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Be an experienced Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager, or a Senior Nurse ready to step up into a leadership role
