Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Broxbourne
Location: Broxbourne, Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £80,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time / 4-day week

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to step into a senior clinical role? Join a long-established, independent practice in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, a charming area with countryside walks, a welcoming community, and excellent transport links to London.

We are seeking a confident vet with surgical expertise (particularly soft tissue), but all vets with specialist interests looking for clinical leadership opportunities are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures and oversee surgical cases
• Conduct consults, ultrasound scans, and routine clinical work
• Collaborate with visiting specialists
• Provide mentorship and guidance within the team
• Deliver exceptional client care


The Rota

• 4 days per week (flexible 10-hour shifts; practice open 9am–7pm)
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am–1pm)
• No out-of-hours duties

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in veterinary practice
• Confident in surgery and ultrasound scanning
