Crynodeb
We are currently recruiting an experienced Weighbridge Operator to join a busy operational site. This is a key front-of-house role, responsible for controlling vehicle movements, maintaining accurate weighbridge records, and ensuring compliance with site procedures, health & safety, and weight regulations.
You will be the first point of contact for drivers and visitors, supporting site operations by ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles and accurate reporting of all inbound and outbound materials.
Working Hours:
• 4 on 4 off
• 40.25 hour week
• 7am- 7pm

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the weighbridge, accurately weighing vehicles on entry and exit
• Ensure all weights reconcile with stock control and loading/unloading records
• Control access for all inbound and outbound vehicles
• Verify that vehicles leave site with correct paperwork and within legal weight limits
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and material types
• Enter all incoming and outgoing materials onto the company database in real time
• Manage vehicle booking sheets
• Notify Goods In/Out of arrivals, collections, and vehicle contents
• Induct new drivers and ensure all drivers comply with PPE, site rules, and H&S procedures
• Act as first point of contact for visitors and external deliveries
• Compile production and operational reports for department managers
• Regulate vehicle flow to maximise site efficiency and production
• Communicate effectively with internal departments including Operations, Engineering, Reuse, and Business Support
Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous weighbridge experience
• Desirable- working knowledge of vehicle weight regulations
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident using IT systems
• Proven data entry experience
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Comfortable working in an environment with varying noise levels
