Crynodeb
We are currently recruiting for a welder for our client based in Ashford. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding based on project needs
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials
- Measure, cut, and prepare metal components
- Inspect welds for accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications
- Carry out repairs, modifications, and fabrication tasks as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure safe operation
- Follow all company safety procedures, risk assessments, and PPE requirements
- Work collaboratively with fabricators, engineers, and site teams
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Strong understanding of multiple welding techniques (MIG/TIG/Stick)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent in using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
- Relevant welding certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, coded welding) preferred
