This lovely family in Suffolk is looking for a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to care for their baby and toddler while keeping the property clean. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. Someone who knows how to drive would be advantageous for this role. The family is looking for someone comfortable travelling since they would be spending the vacation out of the country. Someone pet-friendly is essential, since the family owns a lovely dog. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (with a 1hr lunch break) Weekend work may be required when the family is away.
Accommodation: A spacious 2-bedroom annexe, with its own bathroom, living area and kitchenette.
Duties include:
Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants.
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children.
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development.
General housekeeping where required.
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
Cleaning of the kitchen area, Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
