Your Purpose
MSC Cruise Management is implementing the Maritime Support and Crisis Response Data Domain as part of Global Data Platform. The implementation requires integration of multiple data-rich systems including AI tools, dashboards, reports and shipboard data feeds. To accelerate this evolution, we are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to take ownership of our performance data, optimise analytics demand process and ensure the organization can fully leverage new digital capabilities.
Your Impact
Central Data Ownership
Serve as the primary point of contact for managing, validating, and maintaining performance data across the
department.
Contribute to develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, GIS overlays)
Ensure consistent data structures, naming standards, and quality controls across all systems
Identify data sources (business operation platform) that collects data to be analysed
Define Business KPIs and design business logic to calculate KPIs based on data source information
Define Data Quality monitoring approach
Analytics Workflow Management
Design and implement a structured process to receive, prioritize, and deliver analytics requirements
Translate operational and leadership needs into actionable data solutions
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper integration of datasets, models, and tools
Support for Strategic Tools & Platforms
Integrate AI platforms, cloud environments, and mobile tools to ensure accurate and reliable data outputs
Produce performance reports aligned with MSC 2.0 KPIs
Assist in optimizing digital tools based on usage metrics and system performance
Closing the Feedback Loop
Monitor adoption, accuracy, and outcomes of newly deployed tools and systems
Evaluate Data Quality and Data Issues Root cause
Ensure data collection mechanisms are updated following hardware deployments, office refurbishments, or process changes.
Provide insights that enable continuous improvement and measurable impact.
Your Journey so far
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence or performance reporting
Strong proficiency in Power BI
Preferred knowledge of SAP BO and Dataiku
Experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation
Understanding of data modelling, relational databases, and data governance best practices
Experience with GIS tools or geospatial data (desirable for maritime and routing contexts)
Experience creating dashboards, performance reports, and KPI frameworks
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business insights
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams, leadership, and operational users
