Your Purpose
This newly created position manages and supports the finance and administrative operations of the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department
Your Impact
Works with the CMO and relevant stakeholders to create and manage annual expenditure and revenue budgets and align financial decisions with organisational goals
Forecasts financial needs and allocate resources accordingly
Monitors financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensures compliance with company financial rules and all jurisdictional financial regulations
Prepares and presents financial reports to senior management and stakeholders as required
Oversees internal and external financial audits
Collaborates with the health informatics manager to analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Develops systems to track and oversee billing processes, reimbursement procedures, and patient financial services
Collaborates with the CMO to manage relationships and negotiate contracts with all relevant providers to the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department
Implements cost-efficiency strategies and operational improvements
Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures
Stay updated with advancements in healthcare finance and implement new strategies.

Strong background in healthcare finance, administration and business operations
In-depth knowledge of financial laws and regulations in the healthcare industry
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills
Proficiency in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office including Excel
Experience using other finance and health electronic record related platforms an advantage
Knowledge and practical application of digital data platforms such as Power BI is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of or exposure to maritime medicine, public health and the cruise industry is a significant advantage.
