Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprentice. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in hospitality while gaining hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification.
You will learn how to deliver excellent customer service, prepare and serve food and drinks, and support the smooth running of our food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve beverages (including hot drinks and soft drinks; alcohol service where age-appropriate)
• Support food service, including running food to tables and clearing crockery
• Set up and maintain dining areas to company standards
• Process payments using tills and card machines
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Follow food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures
• Assist with stock rotation and basic stock control
• Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods
Apprenticeship Training
As part of this Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will:
• Work towards a Level 2 Food and Beverage Team Member qualification
• Receive off-the-job training (minimum 20% of working hours)
• Develop knowledge of food safety, customer service, teamwork, communication and hospitality operations
• Build functional skills in English and maths (if required)
