Job Overview:
This role provides on‑site engineering support for the scheduled replacement of legacy Chip & Pin devices and related hardware across Santander branches. Engineers will visit assigned locations to install new units, fit associated peripherals, complete required system updates, and accurately capture and report all deployment data.
- Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Tyne and Wear NE1 7DG
- Daily Rate: PAYE - £19.85/hr (Basic) and UMB - £25.77/hr
- Contract Length: 2-Mar-26 to 2-Mar-26
- Start Date: 2-Mar-26
Key Responsibilities
Purpose:
- To provide engineering resource to support the on-site replacement of legacy Chip & Pin devices and associated hardware across Santander branches on scheduled deployment dates.
- High-Level Scope of Work
Engineers will be required to:
- Attend assigned Santander branches on scheduled dates.
- Replace legacy Chip & Pin devices with new units.
- Install associated peripherals, including covers, chargers, base plates, and Wi-Fi adapters (where specified).
- Perform required system updates via the Engineers Portal.
- Complete mandatory on-site data capture and reporting.
