***43K BASIC TECHNICIAN ROLE IN BURY ST EDMUNDS!***
ROLE: Vehicle Technician
LOCATION: Bury St Edmunds
SALARY: 43k basic, 50k ote + company benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 6.00. Saturday 9.00 – 1.00 every other week
Flame Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician. This is for our clients, independent dealer in Suffolk.
Working negotiable hours between 8.00-6.00 and 9.00 -1.00 Saturday (rota), the successful applicant will possess a good work ethic and participate as part of a hardworking, friendly and experienced workshop team with a “can do” attitude.
About you:
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician
• NVQ Level 3 or have a minimum of 4 years continuous experience
• Have up to date knowledge of diagnostic systems
• Preferably but not essentially, be EV/hybrid vehicle qualified
• You will need to hold a full valid UK driving license
• Preferably but not essentially, with a current MOT tester qualification
• Be able to understand vehicle wiring diagrams.
• Be able to diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults
Responsibilities:
• Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• General serving and repairs
• Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately
