Details
Salary - £12.28ph
Working Hours - Monday - Friday 0800 - 1700
Location - Milton Keynes
Duration - Temp on going
Role of a Stock Assistant
- Receiving deliveries and checking the goods received
- Working in the stores department
- Sorting and placing materials, parts and components onto racking and shelving in order
- Carrying out daily book in and book outs on the system
- Regular stock checks
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Preparing paperwork and Dispatching parts from Store
- Ensuring that equipment and premises are maintained in a safe and tidy manner
- Supporting the Team with ad-hoc tasks as well as to assist other departments from time to time

Requirements for a Stock Assistant
- Confident with IT
- Comfortability with the physical demand of the role, as it can include heavy lifting
