Registered Service Manager - Children's Home Location: Bristol, Salary: £55,000 per annum
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Service Manager to lead a team in a children's home, providing support and guidance to care leavers aged 16-18 years old. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Level 3 NVQ in leadership and management and Ofsted registration. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours a week, offering a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to young people in a children's home setting
Develop and implement individualised care plans to help care leavers gain skills for independent living
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of quality care and support
Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to provide a holistic approach to care and support
Manage budgets, resources, and staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum Level 3 NVQ in leadership and management
Ofsted registration
At least 24 months of experience in supported living accommodations for young people
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with young people, staff, and external agencies
